Transportation Unit

   The Sheriff's Transportation Unit has several functions which include:

• Transporting subjects who have been arrested on our warrants by other agencies.

• Transporting inmates from other county and state facilities throughout California on removal orders endorsed by judges. 

• Transporting inmates to all of the Sheriff's detention facilities within Contra Costa County.

• Transporting inmates to all courts within Contra Costa County.
