This course is designed to provide the incumbent Field Training
Officer with updated information regarding: legal and liability issues,
current academy procedures and specifications, teaching and training
skills, competency evaluations and documentation, ethics,
professionalism, intervention techniques and community policing.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Basic Field Training
Officer Course.
