This course provide records personnel with the basic skills and knowledge necessary to effectively meet the demands of their specific assignment. The topics of this course  include: an overview of the administration of justice components primary reporting system, secondary processes, domestic violence, missing persons, security of information, CLETS/NCIC less than full access training, mandated reporting, mandated training, purging, sealing and destruction of records, interpersonal communication skills and ergonomics.

Law enforcement agencies are faced with the potential of paying enormous settlements and spending hours of staff time preparing to defend cases involving personal and/or public liability. This five-day program has been developed for records supervisors and managers to help them prevent situations which could result in department or personal liability and to improve their supervisory skills.
