This course prepares the student to testify in court as an expert in Collision
Investigation. By building on the concepts taught in the Basic and
Intermediate classes to determine speed based on projectile
motion (freefall and launch) and to perform complex time-distance studies.
It provides a review of basic algebra and physics principles.
While meeting the guidelines established by P.O.S.T., the course
includes computer software which each student will receive at the end of
the course. Students will be taught how to use the software to make
mathematical calculations based on the formula taught in class.
PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of Intermediate Traffic
Collision Investigation (Skidmark Analysis) Course.
