The Community Services/Crime Prevention Unit promotes and provides specialized crime prevention services and expertise to support the safety and well-being of the public throughout unincorporated Contra Costa County. Central to its mission are the building of partnerships and improving public safety through education.

The unit consistently works to meet and exceed the expectations of residents by coordinating and participating in community events in the effort to engage and educate everyone in preventing crime and enhancing public safety.

Teen Academy: July 1st, 8th, and 15th, 2026
  • The first three Wednesday evenings in July in Martinez from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
